Rather than assessing the reasons for 9/11 and looking for ways to cooperatively address them, President Bush was readying the U.S. military for an invasion of Iraq. Many people resisted the march to war by distancing themselves from the political leadership with messages like, "Bush is Not My President" and "Not in My Name".
