14th Annual Prayer Vigil for the Earth on the grounds of the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. The prayer vigil is a seamless tapestry of many traditions woven into a living prayer through collective experiences of faith. All peoples gather to pray for harmony with the natural world, peace among communities and the well-being of all creation. It lasts from sunrise on Saturday morning to mid-afternoon on Sunday sometime in the fall.
