While planning our wedding we met with Laurel and we all hit it off immediately. Laurel provided many creative ideas for photo shoots before the wedding. Since we had never planned a wedding, she provided a great overview of what we should expect, the kind of direction she needed from us to ensure she captured the shots we wanted, and provided insight on the kinds of pictures we might want later. She provided valuable input regarding our day of timeline to ensure we didn't run out of time or miss any of the fun at our celebration! We wanted a mix of candid and formal shots, and a collection that showed the days events from beginning to end. Now we have a great collection showing set-up so that we will remember years from now everyone who assisted, everyone who attended, what our food and flowers looked like, and the overall mood of the event. Frankly, she exceeded our expectations. Before our wedding I was worried about being "the center of attention," but on that day I was immediately comforted by Laurel's presence when I arrived. She made me want to express myself openly and even get goofy. She took so many shots I was confident that there would be a number of "goodies" for print! Lindsay and I shared many intimate moments with each other, our friends and family on that day, which she captured wonderfully.
