Axis of Oil
Early in 2002, President Bush called Iraq, Iran and North Korea the "axis of evil" sending a clear message that the war on terror would be widespread and protracted. Protesters see other reasons for the rhetoric - both President Bush and Vice President Cheney had deep connections to the oil and gas industries.
